About me

I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism in April 2011.

Since graduation, I have covered local high school and youth sports for MLive, Patch and MIPrepZone.

Previously I wrote for the Oakland University’s independent student newspaper, The Oakland Post, from 2010-2011. During my tenure at the Post, I covered campus events and Oakland University Student Congress.

From December 2010 until my graduation in April 2011, I served as the Post’s Sports Editor. I also completed an internship with MLive.com in Fall 2010 during which I covered high school football games and took photos.

When I’m not working, I enjoy bowling, playing hockey, reading and listening to music, among other things.

I am a Michigan native, a 2005 graduate of Clawson High School and a current Royal Oak resident.
